Detailed Description
Dual-Wall Heat Shrink
The outer tubes feature an internal adhesive lining. When heated, this glue melts and flows into voids, bonding with the cable jacket to create a watertight seal.
Mastic Water Block
A strip of butyl rubber mastic is included to wrap around individual conductors, preventing water capillary action (wicking) between wires.
Mechanical Protection
Includes a stainless steel shield or rigid inner tube (model dependent) to protect the joint from crushing forces when buried in soil.
All-in-One Convenience
No need to hunt for parts. The kit contains exactly the right size tubes, crimps, and cleaning alcohol for one perfect joint.
