The CR350 redefines what is possible at the edge of the network. It is not merely a passive data recorder; it is an intelligent edge controller capable of processing complex algorithms locally.

By performing data reduction and decision-making on-site (e.g., converting raw voltages to engineering units, calculating averages, or triggering alarms), it minimizes data transmission costs and ensures that only actionable intelligence is sent to the cloud via MQTT or HTTP.

Advanced Multipurpose Terminals

Small but mighty, the CR350 features four multipurpose analog terminals (SE1–SE4) that offer exceptional flexibility usually found in much larger systems:

  • Current Loop Support: Terminals SE1 and SE2 can directly read 0–20 mA or 4–20 mA signals without external precision resistors.
  • High-Precision ADC: All analog inputs utilize a 24-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter for laboratory-grade resolution.
  • Digital Flexibility: These same terminals can be software-configured as digital I/O for reading logic states, counting high-frequency pulses (up to 35 kHz), or controlling external relays.

Legacy & Modern Connectivity

Bridging the gap between old and new, the CR350 includes dedicated RS-232 and RS-485 ports. This allows it to interface directly with smart serial sensors, Modbus RTU devices, or legacy industrial equipment.

Uninterruptible Power Architecture

You can connect a solar panel (or DC source) and a rechargeable 12V battery simultaneously. The system will run off the charging source during the day while topping up the battery, and seamlessly switch to battery power at night or during grid outages, ensuring zero data loss.
