Dual-sided reflective targets designed for high-precision 3D monitoring of structures using Total Stations.
The Geolook G92-700BT Bi-reflex Targets are essential optical components for structural monitoring and geodetic surveying. They act as fixed reference points on buildings, bridges, or tunnel walls, allowing surveyors to track XYZ displacement over time with a Total Station. The unique 'Bi-reflex' design features reflective surfaces on both sides of a precision-machined pivot. This allows the target to be sighted from different instrument locations without the need for manual adjustment, significantly increasing the speed and efficiency of monitoring rounds in complex urban environments or narrow tunnel galleries.

In traditional surveying, a target often has to be manually turned to face the surveyor's instrument. This is impossible when monitoring an active construction site or a high-rise facade. The Bi-reflex Target (G92-700BT) eliminates this problem.
Because it has reflective faces on both sides, the surveyor can set up their Total Station in different locations for each monitoring round and still receive a clear signal from the target, ensuring a consistent and accurate 3D coordinate history.
The G92-700BT can be mounted in several ways depending on the substrate:
These targets are optimized for use with modern Robotic Total Stations (AMTS). The high-contrast crosshair patterns and high-grade reflective film ensure that the instrument's 'Auto-Lock' and 'Fine-Point' features can identify the target center with sub-millimeter repeatability, even in low-light conditions like subways or tunnels.
Structural monitoring projects can last for several years. Our targets are manufactured from corrosion-resistant materials to ensure that the reflective surface does not peel or degrade due to exposure to rain, smog, or UV radiation. The bright yellow or orange housing options also make them easy for the surveyor to locate through the telescope across a busy job site.
